To all our veterans we say, “Thank You!”
For fighting for the red, white, and blue.
In bearing arms you kept us free
Giving your life for liberty.
Whether near or far, your courage emerged
Abolishing evil as your banner surged
Standing mightily and wavering not
Holding your ground as the enemy shot.
Our praise of gratitude can never repay
What you’ve given regarding “Veterans Day”
Risking your all for those in captivity
With honor and praise you’ve given us liberty.
Thank you for remembering as you have fought
Our freedom is something that can’t be bought
It’s instilled in man from deep in his soul
And those in captivity have yet to be told.
