Dear Heavenly Father,
Our Country has been attacked by the enemy today
and devastation is upon our land.
Innocent blood has been spilt and lives have
been destroyed because of evil men.
I pray you will be with those who are suffering because of this, that healing would be restored to their bodies. Be with the ones who have yet to be found beneath the rubble, spare those who are calling out to you.
Give those who are helping to rescue others,
wisdom as they search.
Protect our President and all who are in authority. Give them wisdom in how to respond to this situation.
Use this to draw many to you. Open their eyes to see that over 2000 years ago, there was also innocent blood spilt.
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish,
but have everlasting life.
I call out to you Father and pray for mercy for my
country and my brothers and sisters in Christ.
Forgive us for our lack of concern regarding
the things of God.
Forgive us for being so caught up in the things of this world and neglecting why we are here.
We are here to glorify you in our lives, to win the lost to Christ, to praise and bless our Heavenly Father
in how we live, what we do and what we say.
You have told us to give thanks in all things, yet we wonder how we can when the enemy attacks without notice.
But I can give thanks, knowing you know our ways and not even a sparrow falls to the ground that you don't see.
You have said vengeance is mine, I will repay, so this I can also be thankful for. Knowing that your ways are best, because you are a just God and a merciful God.
Have your perfect will done in this horrible situation that has happened today. For I ask this in the name of my
Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
